Loretta Maase, M.A., - Executive Director. ParentRise was founded by Loretta Maase, M.A. Ms. Maase has an undergraduate degree in child development and a Masters degree in Counseling, with a specialization in child development and parent-education. Ms. Maase has been involved in the field of parent education throughout her entire career. As former editor of Families in Recovery magazine, regional director of two foster care agencies, clinical director of The Parenting Center of Albuquerque, and therapist in private practice, Ms. Maase has written, developed, and taught parent education since the 1980’s. She is the creator of the ParentRise website as well as 'The ParentRise Connection' parenting program for single parents. Ms. Maase teaches parent-education and works as a mediator and Parenting Coordinator/Parenting Facilitator in Central Texas. She is the proud parent of two daughters, Lily and Arielle.

Jane Bluestein, Ph.D., - Senior Clinical Advisor. A dynamic and entertaining speaker, Dr. Bluestein has worked with thousands of educators, counselors, healthcare professionals, parents, childcare workers and other community members world-wide. Jan C. Shope, M.A., LPC - Clinical Advisor. Ms. Shope is a professional counselor and life coach specializing in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy and maintains a private practice in Spicewood, Texas.
