Being able to effectively tell an interviewer about yourself is a major step toward making a positive first impression. The following outline provides you with key points to consider as you develop your own personal introduction statement.

 

Be ready to offer the following information:

YOUR NAME AND AGE:

 

 

NAME YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS. Example: I have a younger brother, name of brother, and a younger sister, name of sister. My parent’s names are:

 

 

WHO DO YOU ADMIRE THE MOST? WHY?

 

 

WHAT YOU ENJOY DOING?

Name as many things as you want.

 

 

 

IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO DO FOR A CAREER, PLEASE NAME THE JOB OR CAREER.

 

 

 

AWARDS YOU HAVE RECEIVED:

Write them out here or name them when you are called upon to tell about yourself.
